SCRIPT

we decided to only have a short dialogue at the beginning of our trailer to set the mood and tone of our product, showing instantly that there is danger ahead. We plan to have a shot of Emma and Jack walking into the party together from the car while this dialogue is playing in order to link the voices to characters as well as the accident to the car.

MALE:- 999 Whats your emergency?
EMMA:- *flustered mumbling* He's dead
MALE:- Can i confirm your location? Madam?

CAR CRASH SCENE

For the car crash scene we want to be able to create a realistic car crash but obviously not damage the car we are using.
Issues we may encounter with this are;
  • smashing windows
  • debris
  • smoke
  • air bags

We have decide to try and make some sugar glass to smash around the tyres and the car to make it look like the windows have smashed. We have also purchased some smoke bombs to put under the car to look like steam and smoke from the engine.
To make the crash look realistic we have planned various shots such as doing an emergency stop and letting a phone held by someone in the back seat fly forwards, and close ups of the casualty to avoid showing too much of the car.

SUGAR GLASS

For our car crash scene we wanted to make it as realistic as possible to do this we intend to make our own sugar glass. Sugar glass is frequently used in television programmes and in film instead of real glass which raises health and safety issues.
